Alameda High School

The Alameda Family Services  School-Based Health Centers provide a convenient and youth-friendly place for students to receive health care services.

We offer FREE and confidential comprehensive medical, mental health, health education, and youth development services to high school students in the City of Alameda who attend Alameda High School, Encinal High School,  and Island High School.

Students can make an appointment for the following services:

Medical Services*:

• Preventative health services:
  • Sports physicals**
  • Immunizations**
• Sensitive health services:

  • STI testing & treatments

  • Pregnancy testing

  • Birth control

  • Emergency contraception

  • Safer sex health education

  • FREE safer sex supplies (condoms, dental dams, lubricants)

Mental Health Services: 

All mental health services are confidential, meaning that what is discussed in individual sessions will not be shared with parent/guardian or school without youth's approval. However, parental consent is required to start mental health services in most cases.
