This online platform offers a searchable database to find pro-bono (free), low-cost, and County-funded bilingual and bicultural mental health providers, both from the public and private sector.

The Diversity in Health Training Institute (DHTI), is an organization developed by former Alameda County Supervisor Alice Lai-Bitker, to address the increasing demand for a culturally diverse healthcare system by supporting immigrants and refugees to continue prior healthcare professions or start new healthcare careers in the United States.

Funding for the development of AllyNetwork is through a one-time grant program: “The Mental Health Technology 2.0 Pilot Project (MHTPP)” which is funded by California’s Mental Health Services Act. MHTPP’s vision for grantees is to utilize a technology-based approach in order to increase access to mental health care and support for individuals in Alameda County.
